I worked at Layered Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people to work with on first-level management and below.

    Cons

Middle and upper management is disorganized and ineffective. The sales force does not seem to sell anything, and large anchor-class clients are downsizing or leaving. This leaves major sites in a position to be unprofitable. Their solution is not to fill them up, but to shrink them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You cannot get back to profitability by cutting people and data centers when you are in the data center business.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
