I have been working at Le Pain Quotidien

    Pros

Love the attention given to me at the orientation and training, love the free meal daily, loved the bread baking class, great holiday party, cool guests and great, organic vibe. There are opportunities to advance, my manager used to be a barista and she gets what I need and gives me support. Great people, love the commitment to organics and sustainability.

    Cons

Benefits are offered, but too expensive - not realistic. Sometimes staff levels are low. Mystery Shops expectations can be unrealistic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on getting accessible health care benefits. I'd like to stay and grow with the company, but have heard managers complaining about their health care costs too. Go to Chicago, go to Boston.
