Like being on Titanic run by egomaniac shouting out random orders while the crew throws out lifeboats with deck chairs

Pros

It's a toy company with a great brand promise where you will find pockets of very talented, driven people

Cons

The lack of leadership, lack of communication, overall lack of clarity of vision for how an entertainment company is structured

Advice to Management

Try some self-reflection. Recognize talent vs talented at managing the management.

    Pros

LeapFrog overall was a relatively 'fun' place to work. How can you not smile when there are toys and devices all around? In general, your success depends on whether or not you have a good boss who genuinely cares about you and your personal growth. There are some great leaders at LeapFrog and they are trying hard to find 'success' again (more sales). Good benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k match).

    Cons

As with most companies, there are a few 'bad' apples who can make your experience miserable. Again, this goes back to aligning yourself with a group that has a leader who cares. They used to have tuition reimbursement, but this has faded out of existence.

    Advice to Management

Really listen to the feedback given and respect your employees.

    Pros

Relaxed timings.. optimum workload.... They give you time off when you need it. It is the best place to work if you just want a job and are not too serious about your career. You get discount on thier products which are very expensive outside. Lots of free food and bagels

    Cons

No real career advancement if you are in IT. Place is full of politics and filled with people from one area. New and fresh ideas are shot down as a threat to the way of doing things. The system is like one guy knows the system and he wouldnt share it with anyone for job security reasons

    Advice to Management

Employees need to be respected more and please take off the surveillance cameras from every floor. Its creepy.
