I have been working at Learning Care Group full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Good work environment, flexible hours, and everyone is great to work with.

Cons

The benefits are terrible and now all the co-pays have gone up once again. This is a serious game changer for me. No merits this past year either.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are no longer a competitive employer. You really need to fix the benefits situation or at the very least bring back merits. Lot's of knowledge is walking out the door and will continue to do so. Was it really necessary to allow the co-pays to go up after already not giving merits this past year?

I have been working at Learning Care Group part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The kids and other Teachers are the only good part about this job. It is just that a job not a career.

    Cons

The hours, always over ratio so other teachers do not have to be on clock, never recogonized for good work, dirictors are extremly unprofessional to a point they will get in your face and yell at you, later they say they are on there perod.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

you need to remember the little people who cover your mistakes without us you would not have a company.

Teachers and Directors are expected to do more with less while the marketing department grew in size and budget.

I worked at Learning Care Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are many, many highly qualified, caring and dedicated people who work at the corporate headquarters and in the field. The corporate office tried very hard to provide incentives and activities to build morale. Some departments were run very well, while others were not-depending on the department head.

    Cons

The company was/is owned by an investment company whose primary goal was/is to make money for the investors. Staff in the field, especially directors and regional managers were constantly asked to do more with less; specifically, generate more tuition and lower expenses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Choose quality over the bottom line. Don't be so quick to cut support services to the field and ramp up marketing to the customers. The glossy brochures, slick marketing strategies and state of the art call centers do not mean as much to parents as happy teachers and directors with some longevity.
