Pros

The potential is there. As a waitress you make money when need to. If you do your job well, you will have long term employment with room to grow.

Cons

If the waitstaff does not respect their managers, then they will not work hard for them. Satisfied employees are happy hard working employees.

Advice to Management

Keep the lower totem pole employees in mind.

    Pros

The FOH staff was the closet, family-like staff I have ever worked with. Free decent lunch, open 365 days a year which makes for more shifts. Great benefits (full). Paid vacation after first year.

    Cons

Two-faced management, Instability with workable hours, easy to get fired, too much management turnover. Lack of consideration for employees job security and wages.

    Advice to Management

This restaurant is not the white house. We are just selling seafood. Lighten up! Listen to your staff, we are the ones who deal with the guests more. Don't be afraid of change.

    Pros

They do very much promote getting along with your coworkers and doing things as a team. They pay is also competitive and tips are good at the busier locations. It was also very common to see the CEO walking around the restaurant, he would often go out of his way to introduce himself to employees he didn't recognize or those that were showing initiative in the restaurant.

    Cons

At the new location, the managers were a bit disorganized and had trouble getting requested schedules right. They were also slow to fire more useless members of the team.

    Advice to Management

Take employees suggestions more to heart and promote those that show promise more quickly before they are inclined to leave.
