Former Employee – worked at Legal Sea Foods

Pros – 1. Tips are decent when the restaurant is busy
2. Benefits are excellent
3. Food and beverage classes are always offered.
4. Good training for other possible careers

Cons – 1. Awful treatment from managers
2. Ridiculously slow ticket times
3. incompetent managers
4. Secret Shoppers
5. Write ups left and right
6. people can get fired easily

Advice to Senior Management – I worked in Garden City Location and honestly the co workers I had were very cliquey they were the ones that had worked there for years and basically any one new they hired would be automatically pushed out of the door because they were rude. Management right now is awful they favor employees and will never have your back in any situation. They also will not take your opinion seriously. LSF wants to be a high class restaurant but the NY/NJ locations are seriously lacking. I think if Garden city wants to be that way fire all the employees you have because most of them are cocky idiots they find on the street. I honestly don't know how some of them got hired. I feel that George and Roger Berkowitz had a great vision for this company and the NY/NJ locations do not even compare.
