Pros

the people who work for the LSC are hard working individuals with great personalities who are motivated .Staff benefits inc pension are superb.

Cons

coming in early out of your own free will because you are motivated is believe it or not actually discouraged and not rewarded in any form which leads you to feeling of being used. The LSC has turned me from being someone who was highly motivated 3 years ago to someone who feels totally demotivated due to poor evaluation scheme which takes no account of work ethic or commitment just purely set of objectives which may not be met not through lack of training and support, you can have someone who is fully motivated who comes in to work at 7.30 provides outstanding customer service which other staff in other teams appreciate yet be given further development required rating because you fail in new roles some of which you may not understand that is not the same as poor performance.Training and support is poor. Employee Recognition Awards are highly "political" favouring certain staff,ie some employees have been given 5 or 6 nominations while some despite going the extra mile have recieved none.

Advice to Management

Radically change the way you evaluate, appreciate those people who make the effort to come in early.Employee Recognition Awards need to be fair and not discriminate against bands, for example its easy to nominate someone who saves the commission lots of money who is a finance caseworker however if your answering the phone or doing filing etc its just impossible to be nominated which has led me to the conclusion that hard work does not pay.

    Pros

As working here the benefits were great, vacations, parking and the atmosphere in the office was absolutely wonderful.

    Cons

The leadership of the firm was one of the most uplifting one could have. Their training program was very influential and I learned very quickly.

    Advice to Management

The only advice I would have is on a very positive note and that is that I enjoyed working here.

  2. Great place to work and fantastic culture
