    Pros

    Health insurance was generally affordable.

    Cons

Not much respect for hourly employees, vacation policy is very outdated. Longevity counts for more than knowledge or abilities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is 2012, not 1980, drag the company into the present, stop living in the past

I have been working at Leggett & Platt full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Excellent pay and benefits
Could buy up to an extra week of vacation time
    Very good rapport between departments

    Cons

Upper management had their "pets", and it when it cam time for promotions, you knew who they were. If the "pets" couldn't do the job they were hired to do, they were promoted to project managers over the very jobs that they couldn't do!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to listen to those "in the trenches" when it comes to restructuring departments. Those employees are the ones who can give the optimum advice on what works best for what you want to accomplish.
