I have been working at Lennox full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

From what I understand from others that have been here longer than me, this used to be a family, employee centered company but that is no longer the case.

Cons

New approach of CEO is to make money at the costs of the lower level employees. Pay cuts,layoffs, etc. then 6 mths later take a big bonus for himself from the Board of Directors while the rest of us suffer.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Needs new CEO and upper leadership

    Pros

    Salary only. If it weren't for that it would be miserable.

    Cons

    Upper management stupidity. Too many chiefs doing the same thing. Zone managers have no clue as the technical side of the industry.

    Fire yourselves and save whats left of the bottom line.

    I worked at Lennox

    Pros

    1.Very lean organization! Waste of monetary asset not tolerated. Several key initiatives in play to ensure continued profittable in the face of continued margin squeeze.
    2. Product quality and reliability a key focus.
    3. Leadership in the PDR group is both strong mangerially and technically ( which is pleasantly refreshing).
    4. Best company in the HVAC market space to work for!

    Cons

    1. Too heavy a focus on creating premimum product in a commoditized market, need to have a better product mix to respond to market demand.
    2. Lots of high quality talent being underutilized.
