Former Employee - Store Employee  in  Eden Prairie, MN
Former Employee - Store Employee in Eden Prairie, MN

Pros

Discounts for in store food products. No pressure scheduling from management. Other Employees were generally competent and friendly. Customers were nice and fun.

Cons

Manager played favorites among the employees and she could be very moody, When she was having a bad day - everyone was having a bad day. Also, getting a lunch break of any kind was next to impossible.

Former Employee - Assistant Store Manager  in  Edina, MN
Former Employee - Assistant Store Manager in Edina, MN

    Pros

Great co-workers, good customers, flexible schedule, great employee discount, and the work was easy.

    Cons

Assistant managers have no real store management responsibility, but are merely key holders and the pay low pay reflects this. Hours were often cut by manager so that she could get a bonus, leaving a large task load for the remaining employees, store manager never worked after 4 pm on weekdays and not at all on weekends, so many employees only met her at the interview and never again after that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Store managers should be required to work a certain number of evening or weekend shifts to keep in touch with all employees, and should be more available for month end take downs.
