Former Employee - Intern  in  Birmingham, AL
Former Employee - Intern in Birmingham, AL

I worked at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The cause is so uplifting and some workers are completely invested and motivated. Some work wholeheartedly and make the environment special.

    Cons

Some lower level workers seem to have gotten lost in the shuffle. Working in a non-profit is challenging... however, that does not mean there should therefore be a lack in organization or communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should remember why they joined the cause and stay motivated. This company has the potential to not just do average work but can save and change lives. Communication needs to be better and encouragement can go a longggg way.
