Unusual sales environment for a telco

Sales (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsYou'll earn over £100k without doing much.
Friendly, professional people. Some very capable individuals.
You're an incumbent utility provider so once services are in customers won't usually go anywhere.
Better admin than most London telco (who are generally very poor).

ConsYou'll work super hard and not be about to earn much over £100k.
You will spend soooo much of your time fighting process. It is near total insanity difficult to get even the most simple things done. With the amalgamation with GC, this is only likely to get worse.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake it a meritocracy in sales where achievement is rewarded.
Remove the red tape.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Pros: Nice campus and fun people. Cons: Unrealistic management expectations, no clear accountability, duplicative roles, too many… Advice to Senior Management: Define goals and objectives upfront, then proceed with a program. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
