The benefits do not make up for the negative work environment.

    Pros

Great benefits, good salary, nice work facility with a gym, good cafeteria, good coffee, beautiful grounds.

    Cons

Very negative work environment, expect to work every weekend without additional compensation, daily expectations are unachievable due to a lack of support from other teams and poor process management.

I worked at Level 3 Communications full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You'll earn over £100k without doing much.
Friendly, professional people. Some very capable individuals.
You're an incumbent utility provider so once services are in customers won't usually go anywhere.
Better admin than most London telco (who are generally very poor).

    Cons

You'll work super hard and not be about to earn much over £100k.
You will spend soooo much of your time fighting process. It is near total insanity difficult to get even the most simple things done. With the amalgamation with GC, this is only likely to get worse.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make it a meritocracy in sales where achievement is rewarded.
    Remove the red tape.
