Pros

Coworkers on your level as you realize you in it it together. Good salaries but sometimes expect too much. Good benefits

Cons

Micromanging is an all time high here. So although you may be an educated well liked professional they treat you as a lesser. Promotions are not fair as are the companies policies for a lot of things. If you want to make money but be treated child like then apply for a job.

Advice to Management

Read between the lines... If you actually listened to ypur employees there would be better employment and more long term employees.

The overcrowded cubicle farms are terrible for those working in collaborative or creative fields.

    Pros

The coworkers and management were nice and intelligent. The new gym, while small, is uncrowded. There was a variety of projects to work on. Close to King's Island.

    Cons

The buildings' decors were pretty depressing. This place is very overcrowded. Its hard to get excited about legal products. They absorb so many companies that the hierarchy is a mess. Lots of redundancy. Not efficient.

My workgroup is confused by management, then senior management and most often by executive-level cross-talk.

    Pros

    Benefits package
Time off after a few years

    Cons

Developers are 2class citizens, treated like entry-level friecooks
Multiple areas working on the exact same thing
Manager overlap - we're never sure who relaly holds the purse strings or the final say. You can work for months getting positive feedback and then, all of a sudden, what you have is garbage.
No clear direction from management on ultimate goals, needs, etc.
Executives totally out of touch with real work or workplace

    Advice to Management

Fire most of senior management, start over from scratch. Actually train and promote from within rather than having a new-shiny manager every other week.
