Current Employee – been working at LexisNexis Legal & Professional full-time for more than 10 years

Pros – Senior managment is well qualified and really care for the most part. A very good work environment and the most co-workers turn out to be great colleagues. Decent reputation in the legal community.

Cons – Lexis seems to be one step behind the competition causing lots of frustration with employees who continually try to push things through. Law School Marketing has lost market share for many years running now and they seem clueless. Pay is inconsistent for lots of employees in the field, causing resentment at times. They do annual "pulse surveys" to guage employee satisfaction but they do not act to solve their glaring problems---especially as the role gets closer to the customer.

Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees when you analyze your "pulse surveys." You can be a great company if you would just listen and act. Listen to your field reps more and middle managment less.
