Stable but dull

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at LexisNexis UK

Pros

Reasonable salary and benefits, flexible hours, little interference from line managers but micromanagement from middle managers seeking to justify their jobs.

Cons

Old fashioned, arrogant management. Little room for promotion, minimal and delayed annual salary increases. Little diversity in senior management. Endless meaningless meetings.

    Pros

The location of the london offices were brilliant. The company genuinely care about rule of law.

    Cons

Generally speaking, the organisation seems arrogant. The leadership team have strong prejudice towards individuals based on their educational, ethnic background.

    Pros

They pay is quite good and the training that you receive while working for this company is great. The staff is also really friendly and great to work with

    Cons

There isn't a lot of guidance and you don't have a lot of time with line managers. So sometimes left in the dark. They say that they're there for you to help, but try calling them and they don't answer until it's too late.

    Advice to Management

The associate scheme is great and amazing opportunity, but including training regarding safety (in terms of harassment) and promotions would be good. Also a better support system, rather than whoever replies to a Facebook post.
