Pros

Fair. Positive. Responsible to the customer and the industry.

Cons

Talent managment could benefit from expertise consultation and application to the level already invested in the customer experience.

Advice to Management

Follow the CEO's advice. Restructure your talent management platform and innovate as you do so well already for operations and the customer experience.

    Pros

Great training and reasonable expectations when first starting. Company has well established relationships making leads attainable when you are having trouble developing your own. Management willing to help.

    Cons

Comp plan is good for someone new to the industry or in their first sales job recently out of college. Long term compensation has been so stripped by the new model it's impossible to make the money senior reps were once making. Focus is on finding new business, no payout for residual business so you'll have to hustle until the day you retire. Not what you typically want in an insurance career. Be prepared to have call nights until 7-8pm twice a week.

    Advice to Management

Less micro-managing. Do you want results or not? Also, stop changing the compensation plan in favor of the company.. you guys make plenty of money. Let the hard working reps earn their share as well.

    Pros

Liberty Mutual provides ample training and allows you to grow into your role or a new role if you show you are capable.

    Cons

There can be a lot of process to get things done, but for a company of it's size, I'd say it's normal.
