Liberty Tax Service – “Great part time position”

Pros

You will learn a lot about taxes. I started working at Liberty Tax without any experience during taxes. Liberty Tax does a great job at training people with no experience. I believe that my training will be helpful in the future when I do my taxes. My manager constantly reviewed tax information to make sure I was comfortable doing taxes for customers.

Cons

Liberty usually only hires for temporary employment during tax season from January to April. You will not get much hours. I usually only worked about 20 hours per week. The job can be stressful, many of the customers do not bring the necessary paperwork needed to complete their taxes.

Advice to Senior Management

The tax preparation software could use some improvement. The software had many bugs and glitches in it.
