Everyone is so afraid that what is important is being lost

Manager (Former Employee)

ProsFor a travel agency it is the highest paid in the industry as far as I know. Their new commission structure is very aggressive which in a sales atmosphere is needed.

ConsThey have lost their corporate identity since being taken over by flight centre. Many feel displaced and under-appreciated there. They days of being open 7 days a week really should just go away. Close on Sunday, and make your employees much happier and you won't see a change in sales due to it.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop being so scared about your own jobs that you are letting those down that support you the most. The pressure is on, Managers get that, but you ask too much now. And you are losing really great people b/c of it...and what's worse is that you know that. In business it does tend to be every man for himself, and there is no loyalty anymore. But if you continue to bury your head in the sand and allow this behavior to continue, you will eventually be pushed out yourself.
