“Where people become numbers”

I have been working at Life Technologies

Pros – Very good products. Diverse product portfolio. Very good technical support staff. History of innovating and creating markets. Pay and commission plan very good. Excellent name recognition.

Cons – Not price competitive. Naive marketing and upper management. Company has cut many people who held crucial product knowledge and knowledge about the inter-workings of the company and it has become very difficult to get things done internally.

Advice to Senior Management – Trust your sales people to manage their territories.
