    Pros

Promising technologies Potential to develop good products Opportunity to develop technical and soft skills Community outreach programs can be fulfilling

    Cons

Unhealthy levels of stress compounded by job security uncertainties Poor/non-existent communication at and across sites Doublespeak from management does not foster trust Compensation and benefits poor at Scientist III level

    Advice to Management

Own up to your responsibility to employees and not just shareholders. 83% isn't just a few unhappy people, and while it's shocking, it's also real. Create a corporate culture of respect and diversity, not of more nauseating metrics. Cherish dissent, those individuals care about the impact enough to risk their career
