Current Employee – been working at Life Technologies

Pros – No shortage of challenges, high performance co-workers, interesting products that make differences in people's lives, international breadth of operations, a growing business, pleasant facilities, opportunities to work in different locations.

Cons – Health benefits require high levels of employee co-pay (benefits have worsened over the past 3 yrs), comp is average at best, be prepared to work long hours for long stretches, for a biotech the level of zero value-added bureaucracy is high

Advice to Senior Management – Get back to the feeling of a small, rapidly growing, feisty biotech. Give your managers more freedom to make decisions.
