I have been working at Life Technologies full-time (more than an year)

Pros

The hours are consistent and the people are ok.

Cons

They pay is horrible and conditions, going in and out of 30 degree and -20 degree rooms is almost unbearable.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your good employees better than the ones who aren't. And understand that people have other obligations in their lives, e.i, children, house, etc.

    Pros

    Excellent work environment, flexible work timings, state-of-the art equipment, freedom in conducting experiments of choice, extremely amicable co-workers, invitation to meetings to stay updated on company-wide activities.

    Cons

    High living expenses, little assistance with relocation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Arrange for more interaction between interns and upper level management, offer to give work-related feedback and areas of improvement.
