I worked at Life Time Fitness part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Enjoyed my job very much. Very easy great pay great people, members are very friendly. Worked there for awhile no complaints. I love Life Time Fitness. If you work hard enough they will double your hourly wage for an entire month. Benefit packages are offered for full time employees.

Cons

A lot of work. Hours can be very late depending on what department you work in. Customers will get mad at you for poor service, they pay a lot of money to be a member. If you do not have a good work ethic I would look elsewhere for a job.

Not a good company to work for.

I worked at Life Time Fitness full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Free workout facilities for employees and discounts on products. Hours are always available since they are 24/hr

    Cons

The non-stop lying to employees and negative environment to work in. The internal politics is appauling for a company within this kind of market and the upper management is corrupt.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees better (like they're real people)

I have been working at Life Time Fitness full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

You will make decent money and there are often contests and incentives for people who over perform. You get an opportunity to workout during your lunch.

    Cons

There is no work / life balance. You will hit your personal goal and they keep asking for more more more. You work about 45 hours the last three days of every month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop talking about work/life balance and actually put a focus to improve it.
