I have been working at LifeLock full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

This is a good company to work for if you don't care much about moving up in the company and when things don't make sense you don't question anything. If you want a job where you come in, do your job and go home... not have anything invested in it- this is the job for you. Vacation time is nice and pay for certain jobs are either average or in many cases lower than average but the vacation time can help to offset that.

Cons

Management doesn't listen to reps, upper management... while they have an "open door policy" they frown upon actually using it. If you go to the corporate side and if you feel like you can't use the regular chain of command (hence the open door policy) you may be reprimanded. Most of the people working in this place are simply waiting for a better opportunity to come up and a lot of people are not 100% invested in the goal of the company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop using scare tactics to sell your products. Stop targeting older clients because you know they are more likely to believe the sponsors that you pay to use. Also, stop fudging member numbers and company data that is published to make the company look better than things are..

    Pros

The company has a strong brand awareness with consumers, and given the current market share, there is still a lot of potential for growth. The employee health benefits are nice, however the overall comp packages for most positions are not competitive for what you're ultimately going to have to go through.

    Cons

The culture and values at LifeLock are the worst I have ever experienced. Over the past 12-24 months, the company has lost more good people than they have brought on. This is due to treating employees poorly, very little to zero opportunities for advancement, and incompetent leadership which starts and stays at the very top. The company's reputation is still plagued with the FTC settlement and other various lawsuits and scandals. The competition is catching up with new technologies and products. LifeLock's legacy systems and infrastructure prevents them from operating efficiently, reporting accurately, adding new services, and onboarding a large partner even if they could land one. The leadership at LifeLock can't get out of its own way to take themselves to the next level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership and management at LifeLock needs to treat their employees as if they too are the customer. If a leader doesn’t understand the concept of “service above self” they will not engender the trust, confidence, and loyalty of those they lead. Any leader is only as good as his or her team’s desire to be led by them. An over abundance of ego, pride, narcissism, and arrogance are not positive leadership traits.

I worked at LifeLock part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You get paid, and the usual health benefits. The starting wage is good for phone agents, but at a hefty price. It was $14.00 an hour when I started there. Stock in the company, if you were one of people who got it a few years back.

    Cons

If you want to take back to back calls from angry customers, and deal with endless system issues than work at LifeLock. Also, the up selling requirement is a total joke. The political drama and favoritism is rampant. There is no clear communication anywhere, one group of people are told one thing and the other are told something completely different. Good luck!!

Change things for the better of your customers and employees.
