Former Employee - Photographer
Former Employee - Photographer

I worked at Lifetouch part-time (less than a year)

Pros

Great taking pictures of families, kids. Lots of perks like company picnics/parties.

Cons

Bad benefits. No room to grow with the company. Not enough training. Was not being directed for certification even though I had all the things I needed to be certified.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you had full time photographers, there would be more loyalty for both client and employee.

I worked at Lifetouch full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Set own schedule. Work from home some.

    Cons

This awful sales training geared for picture reps. I was in tears. No gas allowance ("built in salary") and ginormous territory. Unreachable sales goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a company car to use. Have smaller territories.
