Pros

Steady paycheck. I wish I could say more.

Cons

Way too many chiefs that don't know jack about photography. Too many hours witout breaks. 30 minute lunch and Chinese Overtime. As much as $1.90 an hour. Do a prom and collect $10,000 and they give you $35. A joke. Plus it takes 8 to 10 hours out of your day. Don't come up short or there is hell to pay. The lab makes all the rules. Photographers have no say. Very low gas reimbursement. 28 cents a mile.

Advice to Senior Management

Put on my shoes. Let the photographers be such. Fire research and development. They have never used this "stuff" on the job. It may look good on paper but isn't user friendly. Way too expensive. Save and give the new profit to the photographers. Why so much paperwork? Is everybody CPA's? Are you that paranoid? Why reinvent the mouse trap? On the inhouse magament, the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Why the D2 camera. Save and get the D300 then give the photographers a raise....
