Pros – -Free food
-Peers and employees in other groups generally very helpful
-Possibility of learning about how a nation-wide network operates
-Benefits were pretty decent, similar to other tech companies

Cons – -NOC management selected due to personal relationships with upper management
-All management has no actual training or much in the way of management ability
-No real opportunities for growth or movement within the company
-Caste-based system rewards those who are cronies of management
-One mistake for non-friend of management will result in termination, no so if you're in with the boss

Advice to Senior Management – Try to grow up and run a publicly-traded corporation like a business, not like high school. Dividing your employees into the 'cool kids' and the 'non-cool kids' is an excellent way to decrease morale and lower overall corporate performance. Of course, the stock price reflects that lately...
