Get experience in a wide range of business areas
Fun group of people to work with
Relaxed atmosphere
Industry leader in the category

Cons

Too many product changes over a short period of time
Unorganized overall in many departments of the company
Not enough programmers to issue timely and needed improvements to the platform

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick a direction and stick to it. Promote employees from within, give them an incentive to want to stay. Communicate better between departments and within departments.

    Pros

    Learned a lot of new skills. Learned how to adapt quickly in an unstable work environment. Good exposure to variety of interesting personalities.

    Cons

    Lack of leadership and vision.
    Zero company culture.
    Serious lack of communication because different departments have no idea what other people in the company are working on at any given time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have a plan and stick to it. Proactively communicate to the rest of the company. Acknowledge employees who do a good job.

    Pros

    Some great, smart, dedicated people from midlevel down to trenches

    Cons

    Poor ethics, communication and strategy skills at the top.
    Executive team is all about making money and doesn't appear to care at all about the people that work for them.
    A business model that doesn't really enrich the world in any way.

    Being successful in business does not have to mean having no heart, or forgetting to see employees as people.
