I worked at Lincare Holdings full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Easy to get a job

Cons

Horrible company to work for. Extremely high turnover rate in each area. They don't pay their employees what they are worth and expect a lot. After over a year at Lincare I quit and since then they have had 3 managers, 2 sales reps leave.

    Pros

    Lincare is a stable company, especially during times of economic hardship. I worked in the warehouse, which is low-stress.

    Cons

    Being a warehouse position, the pay is low, and there is little room for growth. As a result, the turn-over rate is high, and motivation low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat workers with respect, and offer more incentives to stay!

    I worked at Lincare Holdings full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Being able to help patients and provide a needed service

    Cons

    Management has no clue except trying to get their required numbers or quotas.. Training is unprofessional and most of the time just requires the employee to sign off stating training was done. Too much micro managing done by middle management. Presenting products and equipment falsely to patients. Not enough staff at each office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper management needs to look closer at its middle management and the way they let a company such as Lincare become third class. Make sure the centers are clean and equipment up to date. You are dealing with human lives
