Fun summer, learned great methods and helped cool kids

Pros

Paid well, good training program, great relationship between supervisors and coworkers, Keep your contact information for future available positions which was nice

Cons

Sometimes got a bit repetitive, students were a handful at times

    Pros

    The programs you learn are great, and are valued by other educators. You get wonderful experience working with children who have many different disabilities. It's good experience if you want to go into education or a similar field. Also, there is plenty of opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

    the company does not pay clinicians well, and there is a lot of turn over of clinicians. Many clinicians are seasonal and there is a lot of turn over. At times you will deal with clients who you aren't trained to work with (e.g. kids were severe behavioral disorders).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Value clinicians more. They are the ones working in the trenches. If you pay them more, you'll get better employees who are more likely to stick around, so you may save money on training.
