Pros

If you are interested in the localization industry, Lionbridge is a great place to learn. They have projects in all major verticals globally. If you like a business with lots of international colleagues, this is another plus.

Cons

Lack of innovative thinking could really hurt Lionbridge. Often times, the "one size fits all" processes employed by Lionbridge will not work for customers. Pricing can be higher than competitors and in a highly price sensitive industry, this can hurt business. Very little formal training offered.

Advice to Senior Management

Consider lead generation strategies to help bring the Lionbridge name into verticals where Lionbridge has very little market share. Ongoing training can benefit many groups in the organization to continue to operate/behave in ways that drive profitability.
