Pros

LPi has great schedule flexibility for many positions as well as career growth opportunities and a fun / casual work environment.

Cons

There are very few if any cons to working for LPi. The only minor one is the slightly inflexible "use it or lose it" policy for vacation days — but that is made up for by the flexibility the organization and most managers have in general in regards to needing time off.

Advice to Management

I'd like to see senior management continue to embrace and spread "Continuous Improvement" thinking in all areas — often times the worker bees have the best vantage point for removing friction from day–to–day processes.

    Pros

LPi is committed to growth. Diversification of core service offerings by investing in technology solutions that are far superior to what is available on the market today. Aggressively looking at strategic acquisitions that support the core business. There is an entrepreneurial spirit alive that enables employees with a vision and ability to develop and grow.

    Cons

Growing pains are always come with challenges. There are some areas of the organization that are less embracing of the necessary changes. As they say, Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way.

    Advice to Management

Focus on making sure you have the right people on the bus. There are difficult personnel decisions that need to be made at all levels of the organization. Pruning an out of control, stray branch often leads to a healthier and stronger tree.

    Pros

This is a company that values both their employees' satisfaction as well as their insight. Management is engaged, qualified and ready to listen. Employee input is encouraged and valued. There is a healthy work-life balance. If you are focused there is endless room for advancement, although it may take some time.

    Cons

There seems to be a disconnect among the upper management of the separate divisions. Very conservative minded and seems unwilling to take risks.

    Advice to Management

    You're doing a great job.
