Pros

Live Nation is the leader in the field. They enjoy a monopoly position worldwide as conduit for live entertainment tours. Consolidated some years ago using cash and stock to secure existing promoters and their assets.

Cons

Now run by arrogant middle managers and associates. Senior owners and managers were run out of company to control costs. Corrupt in every way. Stock prices dramatically down, disrupting major client relationships. As they attempt to expand by increasing ticket prices and taking over necessary services they fail to boost the stock price. Their new ticketing service is extremely expensive to start up and operating costs worldwide need to be controlled. The decay of record sales worldwide is reducing the number of active concert goers. Ticket prices are rising and tickets purchased are falling.

Advice to Senior Management

Reduce ticket prices.
