Live Nation – “Too fat for it's own good....”

Pros

free concert tix, 2 weeks vacation plus an extra week between X-mas and the New Year.... chill entertainment company, casual wear (jeans!).

Cons

most likely you would learn nothing new or very little during your stay w/ livenation. there is zero knowledge sharing and / or training of employees. No employee evaluation, employees are not reimbursed based on how much value they bring, but rather on their b-s skill during the hiring process. (for example, people who had recently joined company, are getting market rate, but core personnel who's been w/ them for years get peanuts (i'm not talking about upper management here.. they are well compensated, i'm sure)

Advice to Senior Management

The company is too fat (too many people that bring absolutely no value). Evaluate people and pay based on performance.. don't be afraid to compensate those who deserve, and do be afraid to fire under-performers.
