I have been working at LiveOps as a contractor for more than 8 years

Pros

Schedule flexibility, interpersonal refinement, and rewarded challenges

Cons

Vocal sweatshop, no transparency, unethical procedures, no growth opportunity, scarce product info, effort and pay is = to outsourcing only it's native

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a pay cut and contribute to the recession. Give growth and 'employee' opportunities for showmanship and longterm producers. Put more time and appreciation into your revenue generators instead of exploiting them and their remote circumstance. Have some dignity. It's obvious that you're leaching off of the concept of draining new energies (people who are new to, and see the freedom of schedule) to keep from compensating those that have tenure, a strong skill set, and expectations.

    I worked at LiveOps

    Pros

    Free lunch is provided. The company has a decent product in a domain that has potential. CEO is profit-focused.

    Cons

    Growing company syndrome where it's not totally organized (documentation, have to figure out system architecture, design, technology by yourself because people left or did not have time to update/produce documentation. too political.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Reward people who actually perform. Better accountability for senior staff. Get in touch with actual customers.

    flexible schedule, open 24 hrs decent pay

    Cons

    hard to get hours, have metrics to get good call volume, can let you go for no reason do not depend on as main income

    communicate better with ic on what they did wrong
