Pros

I was given a lot of freedom in the direction of the project. I heard lots of praise from various sources, not just my superiors.

There seems to lack organization.

    Pros

LiveOps was at one time very interested in the SaaS marketplace as a venue to offer their contact center solution to enterprise users. This model has potential and LiveOps got some great traction in 2009.

    Cons

There is a large contingent of employee's at LiveOps that actively work against the success of the SaaS product offering. There are also some incredibly territorial and unhelpful people within the organization. The only place you will see teamwork is when they host a company provided BBQ.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The board of directors clearly cannot determine what they want the company to be when it grows up. The notion that if it is a down year that you should selectively can leadership positions means that LiveOps is susceptible to lots of false starts and reboots. The board of directors may be the best and brightest, but I will stick to my naieve concepts of business and how a company should be groomed for success.
