    Pros

Living Social is a great place to work because everyone works together and pulls together to find the best plan of action. It is a very young company and its nice to work with people who are also trying to build their careers and find their way in the working world.

    Cons

Because Living Social is such a young company it is not quite a perfectly well oiled machine, so to speak. There are definitely come kinks that need to be worked out. There were just a lot of layoffs so its hard to know for certain what your future is at the company.

I worked at LivingSocial full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Working from home. Got to meet all kinds of local business owners. Felt like I was doing something good for the business owners as well as the customers.

    Cons

Once new management came in, you could feel the culture changing overnight. No longer were you commended for any work, no matter how much you brought them in sales. New upper sales management was more willing to tell you reasons you would get fired than what you could do to work up through the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People just hate working there. Give them a reason to want to do well. Stop spending tens of thousands of dollars to hire a new position, and work with the people you have.
