Pros

Its a new way to bring merchants and buyers together and sales team is great at showing how merchants can have long term success if done right.

Cons

Management does not always seek insight from sales team - the ones doing the job - before changing or adding something.

Advice to Management

Get some ideas from the people on the street, your sales reps.

    I have been working at LivingSocial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent benefits package, good compensation for those reps in active markets, unlimited vacation for performers, remote office also has its perks.

    Cons

    Sales process is cluttered by checks-and-balances with programmers and management. Reliance on programmer for accurate scheduling and offer approval. Poor compensation for those in less-active markets.

    Advice to Management

    Flexibility in partners and in offer structure. More frequent communication between internal teams and departments.
