I worked at Liz Claiborne

Pros

It is fun, the upper management is great, HR is wonderful, the stores are beautiful and the clothing quality is very good. Customers are women with discerning taste and like to be loyal.

Cons

you are working with women of all ages and there is sometimes drama

Advice to ManagementAdvice

great job, try to incorporate more choices within clothing lines, more co-ordinating pieces, sometimes nothing really goes with anything else in the same collection, and it is hard to sell "outfits" or extra co-ordinating options to customers. if there were more "nuetral" pieces upselling would be easier and sales would be higher.

I have been working at Liz Claiborne

    Pros

I am working with one of the Liz Claiborne companies - Mexx Europe BV, CEO Jeff Fardell.
One of the best reasons to work for Mexx is the international experience.

    Cons

One of the downsides of working with Mexx is the lack of communication from the parent company Liz Claiborne as well as from the executive level of Mexx Europe. Mexx has a lack of expertise in senior management and lacks the depth and knowledge needed in a multi-national work environment and culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Transparency for employees, come down from the ivory tower and walk the halls a bit
