I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Vastly different business from 5 years ago - I have found them as an employee to be much more focused on acting responsibly and ensuring that the customer and the community is central to every aspect of what the group does. This is why their purpose is Helping Britain Prosper and made public committments to achieve this.

Also lots of career opportunities (if you want it) and investment in digital learning. Also I don't think you'll find another private sector business that offers as much flexibility and encourages such inclusivity as Lloyds. My overall impression is that they are really trying to build an engaged, motivated, diverse and innovate culture.

As such, I have no plans in leaving any time soon!!

    Cons

The only downside is, given the scale of the Group, that it can take a while for change to really happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall, more of the same please!! Only suggested improvement is to remove some of the layers of control (not with standing the need for governance and control in a bank!) to give more autonomy to staff to ensure change can happen quickly.
