Current Employee - Senior Manager in London, England (UK)

I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Some good people, job security

Cons

Too high a reliance on consultants who are not value for money
Cost Management process is too bureaucratic and automated loses perspective by focussing on saving low value costs rather than the £1k+ per day consultants deployed across the group adding little value

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on strategic goals that can be achieved and give more autonomy to senior managers to run their business as they know best.

I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A very terrible job with no pros whatsoever.

    Cons

A very clicky and bullying culture which is very uncomfortable to work in and affecting many people's lives but the management do not care. They are only concerned about targets. The management treat the employees very poorly and I would have to say that this is not a good place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to be definityely changed immediately.

    Pros

No pros Can't think of any

    Cons

No recognition of your hard work. You are always expected to put in more extra hours and work long hours. Your family and personal problems/issues are never taken in to consideration.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should speak-up instead of just buckling-down to threats and pressures from the Group's Directors and Higher archies

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
