I have been working at Loblaw

Pros

Loblaw provides a wonderful opportunity for job growth and on-the-job learning to its employees which, in turn, creates loyalty and a great sense of pride.

Cons

One of the challenges at working for Loblaw would be the number of managers and decision makers that expect their visions and ideas to be implemented above and beyond those from their peers. The large number of visions can create tensions whereby it is difficult to appease all visions simultaneously.

I have been working at Loblaw

    Pros

most of the senior managers understand that to get the job done, treating people with respect will get you there when push comes to shove

    Cons

Newer managers are trying to make a name for them selves and think they can re-invent the wheel in the mean time mowing everyone down in their path, forgetting how they got there

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

three nickles are worth more than a dime... sales will make profits, not trying to squeeze vendors for money ...eventually the money runs out then what.... back to good ol sales
