“Started well, but I would not suggest this place for people who enjoy working in teams without having to watch your back”
Former Employee – worked at Lockheed Martin full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – When you have a good team & good leadership, it is a great place to work. When the supervisors and team leaders are taking care of their people while getting the job done, goals are accomplished and customers are happy.
Looks good on a resume!
Cons – There are a number of people who are very political. Certain people will work to get rid of you if they see you as competition. Long work hours and long rambling meetings reduce the effectiveness of teams
Advice to Senior Management – Reward good politics (helping others regardless of their power to help you)
Remove bad politics (only helping those who have the power to help you)
Do not discount the disabled veterans.
Be very careful of who you layoff it may be a hard working vet.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
