I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Interesting products and projects with almost any discipline available within the world-wide company. Benefits include education reimbursement, average medical and dental plan. Telecommuting available in some disciplines and job areas.

    Cons

I have not really seen any down side or con to working for the Lockheed Martin Corporation, outside of only having one medical plan and company to choose from for benefits.

  2.

Opportunity to move around in the company, flexible schedule, but years of experience outweigh all else for promotions

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    - matching 401k: they match 50% of the first 8% you contribute
    - flexible schedule, work from home may be available (but it's getting more difficult to get approved)
    - usually okay with 40.0 hours/week

    Cons

It doesn't matter how good you are as a developer - years of experience are HEAVILY weighted. Talented 25 year olds can out-code a developer making twice their salary

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow managers to give bonuses, and to fast-track young developers to senior developer level.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
