I worked at Lockheed Martin full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

For a large company, Lockheed Martin cares about their employees. HR actually helped with placement, and with severance placement when I was laid off.

    Cons

As is usual with defense contractors, their hiring and firing is very much based on how much money Congress is spending in a current year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please, get back more into the Space Exploration field. I realize Congress isn't funding NASA, but surely there's some money to be made on space-based R&D and exploration.
