A great place to start a career or refine a specialism, but not the place to build a diverse portfolio of experience....

Pros

A great organisation to work for, with a depth of capability like no other. Strong ethics and values that manifest themselves in the way the company chooses to operate.

Cons

'Time-served' career progression - a little stale in the 21st century and not reflective of the aspirations of its most talented employees.

Advice to Management

Out with the old.... In with the new.

    Pros

Great name to throw around when asked who you work for.

    Cons

Micromanagement when it doesn't matter no management on pertinent or time-critical situations. The simplest tasks are borderline impossible due to work environment set-up. Too focused on matters out of the employees control. Once your contract is over, you are 100% on your own, even if you're still in the middle of Afghanistan. Pay is thousands lower than competing companies. Contract completion bonus is thousands lower than competing companies.

    Advice to Management

    Completely redesign your deployment positions.
