Pros

From spending a summer there, I saw that Lockheed treated their employees very well. The salaries were fair and there are many other perks the company provides. Depending on where you work within the company you help out on some very interesting projects. The company follows a 9/80 work schedule so every other Friday we had off.

Cons

Lockheed has its own way of doing business so the learning curve is steep when it comes to acclimating within the business. There are many different processes and acronyms that you have to learn and most of what I did there as an analyst was never taught in any college. The skills are not very transferable.

Advice to Senior Management

Find a way to make it easier for new employees to learn how Lockheed conducts their business processes.
