ProsGenerally speaking the benefits are good. Talented engineering staff. Some managers/departments have more flexibility for virtual and work from home scenarios than others. May be international opportunities due to the increased emphasis there.

ConsVery difficult to establish a career path internally. Most upward opportunities are on the east coast. Company is experiencing significant organizational change challenges due to sequestration and reduced government spending with a 30% reduction in staff. Highly process oriented. major changes in performance management system which has mixed reviews.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
