Pros

Interesting work, good pay / benefits, flex hours

Cons

Layoffs, Finance has too much say in Engineering decisions.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to be more selective when they lay people off. In some cases they are laying their BEST people off.

I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Paid time off and flex-time benefits are great. Several leadership development programs available to high performers. Tuition reimbursement available. Paid weekly. Good work/life balance. Easy to move/re-locate within the company.

    Cons

Pay is almost always below the market average for the same job, and annual raises are usually less than 4%. Once you hit the average market salary for you job, you will not receive any additional raises (even if you are a high performer). You must be willing to relocate or change jobs to get a promotion.
